More Sledding

More sledding video.

Sledding

The backyard might not be too steep, but it provides a nice little sledding hill.

Back Yard Fun

Where was I? Sunday and the backyard.

On Sunday we had a great time in the backyard. The backyard was still snow covered. It provided many opportunities for sledding, snowball fights, and snowman making. Well, maybe not real snow man making, but Charlie Brown type Snowmen. We had a great time sledding down the hill with everyone.

Visitors from Los Angeles

Last week Dan, Danielle, Ben, Luke and Erin came all the way up to Spokane for a weekend of fun.

On Friday we had a trip to the Sports Exihbit at the Mobius Museum. The kids enjoyed the different activities such as name that ball, the perfect bounce pass, the throwing cage, virtual volleyball, meauring the trajectory of a throw, and many others. In case you were wondering Dan threw faster than John, 51mph to 49 mph. I thought I could throw faster than 49 mph. Anyway, Ben topped out at 29mph and Luke at 21mph.

On Saturday we took a trip to Mount Spokane. There we did some innertubing down a snow covered hill. It was a lot of fun. We had a nice lunch at the lodge where Erin made some new friends. We then went up the Mountain to the ski lodge. The weather got ugly making it a very short trip. We finished the day with some cupcakes and presents to celebrate Ben and Luke's birthdays.

Sunday will require another post.

Grandma's Visit

We are a week late, but with good cause. Last week was the first week in a month when we did not have family around to help. Grandma was here a week ago, and we had a wonderful time. The time flew past quickly. Caitlin certainly loved seeing her Grandma. She enjoyed the play time with the new toys that Grandma brought and Cookie Monster from Uncle Chris. She had a great time reading many books with Grandma. We also enjoyed the time with Grandma and the help she provided with caring for Caitlin. We look forward to seeing all the grandparents in April.
