More Caitlin pictures

Here are some more pictures of Caitlin with various hats. She does not really like wearing hats, but now that the weather is nice (finally!) and she is going out, she seems to accept the hats. Personally, I think the Dodgers cap is the her favorite. Fortunately for me, her Yankees hat is just a bit to big.

More trips to the park

Caitlin is enjoying near daily trips to the park. She went down the slide on the Big Red Wagon. I am not sure she enjoyed the slide much. She is enjoying her occasional "splash around" in her backyard kiddie pool. No pictures of that yet, but I am sure there will be some to come.

Caitlin at the park

Now that he weather is nice, we have taken to going to the park. There are three parks within a mile of our home. Cailtin enjoys the swings and playing with the ground, be it grass or bark. She also gets a kick out of watching the other kids.

Opening doors

As part of our goodnight routine, Caitlin puts her toys away. After her morning 6:30 ish bottle, she gets to take her toys out for the day. She has learned how to open the doors to her toys and is pretty proud of herself. Sometimes she seems more interested in playing with the doors than getting her toys.

Kim and I have started our summer vacation, although Kim continues to do work to finish of the semester. Caitlin is continuing swim class and enjoys the hour a week. Caitlin is also moving around in her crib a lot more than before. Here are some fun pictures.

Shrimp and Kippers Class

Caitlin has begun her Shrimp and Kippers class at the YMCA. She enjoys the time in the water and is having fun meeting people her age. Her favorites are swish, swish, swish(side to side in the water) and popcorn(in and out of the water). She even tolerates being dunked in the water.

Caitlin being Caitlin

The past few posts have lacked pictures. So here are some pictures of Caitlin being Caitlin.

Caitlin finishes her first bloomsday

She finished the 7.46 mile race in 2:10:53. She enjoyed smiling at all the other people on the track before she fell asleep. Sorry for the lack of pictures, we only had a disposable film camera during the race.

Tomato Contest

Well, it is May and time to start thinking about the annual tomato contest. Last year Papa Gizmo swept the contest with well over a 100 tomato and the largest of the year. I believe David had the worst year in the history of the contest. I am not sure if his plant broke double digits.
The rules are fairly simple. You can pick one plant to count your fruit from. Once you start counting the fruit from a plant, that is your plant for the year. A tomato must be larger than the size of a golf ball to count. The size of a tomato is determined by the circumference of the fruit.
