Grandma Visits

Grandma came for a nice visit. We all enjoyed the visit very much, although Jack may have enjoyed it the most. He really seems to take well to Grandma. It took a few days for him to adjust, but they were headbutting and laughing after a couple of days. Sadly however, both kids visited the doctor: Jack for an ear infection and Caitlin for a chest cold. Both went on drugs and improved quickly with a little of extra love from Grandma. Grandma and I also caught a cold. It was very helpful to have help with the sick kids. We are glad that we had some snow fall while Grandma was visiting.

Visitors from LA

We had a wonderful weekend with Dan and Danielle's family. The night before they arrived we had a heavy snow storm. It was nice soft snow. However, with the snow came a drop in temperature. Most days were in the teens and nights close to zero.
There was plenty of sledding in the backyard and at Manito Park. The boys went ice skating while the girls went to Mobius(Jack stayed home). We tried a new miniature golf location near Whitworth. We all pitched in to make a snowman and a snowbaby. Dan and I had a great snow ball fight against Luke and Ben. Caitlin had a fabulous time playing with Erin all weekend. We were sad to see everyone go on Sunday.
