Back Home
The flight back to Spokane was a little trying at times, but not too bad. There was a lot of walking up and down the aisles. We are home now, the kids miss the extra attention, but they also seem happy to be back with all their toys. Now we prepare for our next adventure.
Time to leave
The Cape
We spent a week of our vacation out East in Orleans on Cape Cod. We had so much fun, that the time flew by. We went to the beach several times, played mini golf, went to the ZooQuarium, took a boat ride, rode a trolley, among other things. Skaket Beach was great for the kids. The beach takes two forms depending on the tides. At high tide the water is a good depth to splash and look for crabs. At low tide you can walk out half a mile through tidal pools. Of course the kids enjoyed playing in the sand the most.
Sadly while on the trip, we got news that Papa Gizmo fell off a ladder. He cut his lip and broke a rib, but is doing fine now.
