Little Santa

Jack is preparing to be Santa.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation.  We spent Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma and Papa.  There were 32 people celebrating together.  It was loud and fun.  Everyone pitched in to help make the food, set the house up, and clean the dishes.  Dan and his family spent the night, which gave the kids a bit more time together.

Friday was spent at the beach with cousins.  We also went to see the movie "Frozen".  The eighteen of us who went enjoyed the movie.  Caitlin dances around the house singing the songs.

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun.  We visited Grandma and Papa, where we decorated cookies.  We also went to the pumpkin patch for a nice hay ride and a corn maze adventure.

Jack dressed up as a Lightening McQueen crew member, while Caitlin was Rapunzel. We all went trick or treating around Grandma's house with Izzy, Elly, Mary and Robert.  The kids had a great time knocking on doors and getting candy.  We however are still eating the candy as Christmas is nearing.

Uncle Chris's birthday

We were lucky enough that Uncle Chris had to work in Southern California right around his birthday.  The kids always enjoy spending time with Uncle Chris, especially when it involves cake.

Caitlin's Birthday

Caitlin had a wonderful birthday celebration.  It started with Grandma and Albie coming to visit.  We all had a great day playing and opening presents.  During the week we went to Disneyland.  Everyone had a great time.  Caitlin had her hair done to look just like a Disney Princess.  Caitlin and Jack enjoyed all the rides, as did the rest of us.  The lines were very short and we were able to get a lot done.  The parade was fun to watch while eating our dinner.  The following weekend Caitlin had a party with some of her school friends and her cousins and a local Pizza joint.  It turned out very well.  The kids made their own pizzas, decorated the pizza boxes, played with pizza dough and decorated their own cupcakes.
