Hello Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa flew into town to celebrate Caitlin's first birthday. We had a great time in the few days we were able to share. The birthday party was wonderful and the celebration has continued well past her birthday, but what can you expect from a daughter of Kim. Hopefully we will find some time to read the blog and review the past year. It is amazing that a year ago Caitlin was just born.

Bye Bye Grandma and Papa Gizmo.

We had a wonderful time with Grandma and Papa Gizmo. Everyday seemed to be filled with laughter and love. Caitlin loved having an excuse to try some cake before her official birthday. She loves playing with Abby in the the learninghome she received from Grandma and Papa. Oddly enough, she also likes the Count from Sesame street.

Oatmeal

Caitlin had some extra fun with the grandparents in town. She enjoyed eating oatmeal with her hands. She also seems to like playing with toilet paper. We are excited about when she might learn to use it. On that note, Caitlin hides under the table or behind the chair when she needs to poop.

Day Care Help

We are back at work. We certainly miss summer and the opportunities it provided, especially the time with family. Fortunately our day care provided took a vacation, giving us the need for Grandma and Papa Gizmo to visit. We had a wonderful time over the past week. Caitlin very much enjoyed every morning when Grandma would come up the stairs. She also loved playing ball on the stairs with Papa Gizmo.

Back in town

Well we have been back at home for two weeks now. We have returned to many of our old routines including Gymboree class, Mobius the children's museum, and trips to the park. We look forward to a wonderful month with visits from both sets of grandparents and a first birthday celebration. However, there are few pictures left from our Connecticut vacation and trip to New York City that we would like to post.
