Grandma is back

Well Grandpa returned to Connecticut and Grandma has arrived in Spokane to help. She has been a great help. Last weekend we went to a ceramics store where Caitlin was able to paint the pieces. We had high hopes for the day, but Caitlin had other ideas. It was a lot of fun and we will see how the pieces look tomorrow.

Help from Grandpa

Grandpa flew into town this week to help us out. He has been a great help with all the cooking and dish washing. He also took care of Caitlin while we had a three hour ultrasound appointment. Writing of which, the baby appears to be doing well. Kim is also doing much better. She now only requires two naps a day in addition to her 10 hours at night and one liter of IV fluids. Caitlin was a little under the weather on Saturday, but she was back to her normal self today.

A big sister

Caitlin will have a little brother or sister(sorry for the earlier statement) in mid May. We are very excited. Sadly, however Kim is not feeling well as she is suffering from hyperemesis. She has been getting daily IV fluids to help the dehydration and fatigue. Fortunately, Grandma Gizmo came here to help us out for a week. Grandpa is scheduled to arrive tomorrow for more help.

Halloween

Our Halloween week was very fun. We had a party at Gymbore on Thrusday and spent Saturday night and the Beans. Caitlin enjoyed her costumes and even kept them on for most of the evenings.

Going for a ride

Sadly Caitlin has been sick for part of the past week. She has had a slight fever, ate less, and cried more. However, she seems to be recovering nicely. Mom and Dad are still healthy, knock on wood. Here is a video of Caitlin going for a ride.

Pumpkin Picking

We spent today with Rowan and his parents Nick and Jami at the pumpkin patch. Caitlin helped pick out a few pumpkins, but enjoyed her time in the hay box the most. Although, she is apparently getting tired of all the paparazzi.

Attacking Elmo

Here is a little glimpse of the energy that Caitlin displays. I feel a bit sorry for the Elmo ballon.
