On July 12, I was lucky enough to be given a beautiful baby shower at Avon Old Farms by Christine Ruane and Mrs. Chamberlin. It was a wonderful shower with good friends and a delicious lunch. Caitlin received many beautiful gifts - she will be one of the best dressed little girls in Spokane. Many people traveled quite a distance to come to the shower, and their efforts are greatly appreciated. My mom knit Cailtin a beautiful baby blanket. That was quite a surprise, since I didn't even know that she had learned how to knit. :) The generosity and hard work that Mrs. Chamberlin and Christine put into the shower was phenomenal, and I am so thankful to both of them.

Hi Kim and John -
I read your blog today! A baby shower - I didn't know you had a baby shower in Connecticut. That makes it seem so real, doesn't it?
The pictures of Caitlin are amazing.
Hope to see you both soon.
Gina
Hi Kim,
What a beautiful setting for a shower! You, and Caitlin, look great :-)
I've been thinking of you and am glad that all is going well.
Will you be in Spokane for the month of August?
Diane
What a fabtastic baby ahower you had,Caitlin! You are a very lucky girl ans so smart too, in selecting such fine parents, who are blessed with close friends and family. It was so generous of Christine and Mrs. Chamberlin to take such good care of you and your mommy. Wait until you meet them in person, you'll love them as much as we do.
I really surprised your mommy with that homemade blanket, which will make you toasty warm because it's filled with lots of love.
